My entire professional journey, I’ve felt driven to help organizations of all sizes care for their employees in more meaningful and effective ways. To reach more leaders and inspire more change, I gathered a team of passionate, dedicated, and inspired people to help me. And, for 25 years, the First Person Advisors team succeeded in doing just that. In May 2021, I was proud to announce the acquisition of First Person by NFP, the fifth largest benefits broker in the world.
Now Managing Director of NFP, my aim is to engage my network on behalf of clients and partners. Through this role and community, advisory, and board work, I will continue to help entrepreneurs, business leaders, and nonprofits affect change in their communities, across the country and around the world. After all, money, recognition, and power are fleeting. Impact, relationships and inspiration are everlasting.
Owning a business was never quite the goal. Building an environment that helped organizations create space for people to become their best selves, engage in meaningful work and exceed even the highest expectations, was. As this First Person / NFP transition has played out, I’ve been asked countless times, “So what are you going to do now?” The answer is simple – the same thing I’ve always done: serve as an advisor, thought leader and community philanthropist.

Over the past several months, I’ve been working hard to develop an authentic and updated brand to give structure to my professional and not-for-profit work outside of NFP. Like everything I approach, each of the elements in my new brand was thoughtful and intentional, down to the fonts, colors and even my socks for the photoshoot.
I love where we landed with my new, ‘waving flag’ logo, which symbolizes leadership, momentum and vision for the future. My most cherished role throughout my career has been leading and supporting others in their own journeys as a trusted partner and mentor. The flag represents laying claim to continued thought leadership, commitment to people-first methodologies, disrupting the status quo and charting a vision to explore new ideas.
